Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration

The Degree Course in Business Administration prepares you in all areas of business administration with the aim of training you so that you can access posts of responsibility by contributing with your practical knowledge and being able to effectively improve company competitiveness.

These studies are aimed at training tactical executives who must take decisions and solve problems in organisations by controlling finance, setting up companies, administering them, planning sales, advising on the Stock Exchange, etc., always with well-formed criteria that guarantees success.

Methodology

Our methodology:

  • Is essentially based on practical knowledge so that our students can develop their own procedures and work styles.
  • Is an authentic personal experience since it supports students' process to adulthood.
  • Provides personalised attention (small work teams).
  • Makes use of the most modern technology (every student is provided with a laptop).
  • Differentiates between teaching methodology and learning methodology.

Real Company Experience

These internships introduce the students into the working world, give them the chance to implement the techniques that have acquired and encourage learners to keep on improving.

As these are considered a major element in students' professional training, they must undertake a minimum of 500 hours, which may start in the summer of 2 nd year.

Depending on students' preferences, the internship programme establishes specific routes to contribute to students' specialization and guarantee the maximum exploitation of this kind of active learning.

The main aim of the Professional Development Service is to accompany students in their professional careers and provide them with information and guidance.

Degree Courses

  • CESTE's degree course (Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration).
  • The University of Wales' degree course (Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Business Administration).
  • Specialties: Business Administration, Marketing Management, International Marketing Management.

European supplement to the Degree: complementary document to the degree course that certifies students' training to guarantee an easily legible and comparable system of degrees and Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

International Area /Foreign Languages

Students attending this degree course are requested to learn two languages, both of them at the same level of ability, English and a second language to be selected between French and German, so that they can obtain the bachelor.

At the beginning of the academic year, new learners do a level test to organise courses. The language programme is divided into four different stages that students have to overcome.

Considering English language, once you have passed level four our students are offered the possibility of taking level five or starting a third language learning.

The internationalisation of these studies and the knowledge of today's business world is attained by going abroad either through internships or foreign language courses. At CESTE, students:

  • Learn two languages: English language (compulsory) and French or German (to be chosen).
  • Join the internship programme abroad (optional).
