The degree course in Computing Science is aimed at training people in the important fields of new technologies which our "New Economy" society is constantly demanding owing to the rapid evolution taking place.
The purpose of this degree course is to enable students to learn, on the one hand, many of the technologies currently used in companies, while on the other hand, and without losing track of the practical vocation of the course, the theoretical grounding needed in any university course to face the challenges the working world demands from tomorrow's professionals.

These internships introduce the students into the working world, give them the chance to implement the techniques that have acquired and encourage learners to keep on improving.
As these are considered a major element in students' professional training, they must undertake a minimum of 500 hours, which might start in the summer of 2 nd year.
Depending on students' preferences, the internship programme establishes specific routes to contribute to students' specialization and guarantee the maximum exploitation of this kind of active learning.
The main aim of the Professional Development Service is to accompany students in their professional careers and provide them with information and guidance.
